I wholeheartedly recommend Autonom if you’re planning to rent a car in Romania. I had the pleasure of picking up a car from Stefan Scripcaru in Bacau and the overall experience was fantastic. Besides being highly professional and friendly, Stefan offered us a substantial upgrade free of charge which we gladly accepted. The car was new, clean and the service was better than any other car rental company I’ve tried so far.
Fair price for a rental in Iași. The guys there are very welcoming - picked it up from the city location in Păcurari and dropped it off at the airport. At the airport it was a bit hectic because the police decided to not allow people in the parking lot anymore so the handover had to be done somewhere near the forest - but I arranged it all with the guy over the phone and it went smooth enough. Will probably use again.

They are very easy to talk to and make you feel welcome as you enter. I rented a 307 it was about 27€/day, the car was new and very nice for the price it even had heated seats which were a real pleasure during the romanian winter. And when we gave back the car they even drove us to the train station! They are very profesional and I strongly recommend them.
